Cheshire House
This was a specialised residential project undertaken by us in the heart of London’s exclusive Belgravia.
A prime building (Listed Grade II*) it had been operated as the office HQ of the Association of County Councils but fallen vacant and into disrepair.
We initially acquired the unexpired lease and then secured a long term lease from Grosvenor Estate leading to full enfranchisement on completion of all works. The building was completely restored to a prime house with adjoining Mews to rear. At each step detailed approvals were required from both Grosvenor Estate and English Heritage.
The house was initially let for a 2 year term following which a sale was concluded at a then record price of £19M to a private individual.
